Known for her high-energy classes and unapologetic style, India brings 15+ years of experience and a fierce love for hip hop to every studio she steps into. Her teaching is all about building confidence, connection, and strong foundations—both in dance and in life.
India trained full-time in Melbourne, developing her technique across hip hop, commercial, jazz, ballet, contemporary, and heels. She also spent time living in Auckland, where she continued her training at the world-renowned Palace Dance Studio—refining her style, deepening her understanding of street foundations, and staying immersed in the local scene.
India’s performance and choreography credits include working as a dancer and choreographer for the Hawke’s Bay Magpies rugby team, and being selected for the Storm Cheerleaders performance team when they were in New Zealand. She has danced and choreographed for shows and events across Aotearoa and Australia, with a reputation for bold, high-impact work that connects with audiences.
Specialising in hip hop and street styles, India is also trained in dancehall, house, and commercial, with her choreography rooted in her signature flavours: ratchet, gangsta, and slow jam. Her classes are unapologetic, empowering, and full of attitude.
India is also deeply passionate about access and equity in dance education. She developed school programs for rural communities, ensuring tamariki everywhere can experience the power of dance.
At her core, India believes dance should be bold, freeing, and fun—and she brings that energy to every dancer who walks through her door.
